Hey guys,
I am applying for USA's FNP program for Spring 2011. I was wondering if anyone else is applying and if anyone has any good info about the program and the admissions criteria and etc.. Thanks!

Hi, I was also accepted for 2011 FNP program at USA. Anyone know how good the program is? The tuition is reasonable.

I received my denial letter as well. 3.6 and over 6 years of ED and peds experience. Bummed that I didn't apply elsewhere.
I feel your pain. When did you apply? I applied right before the deadline, wondering if this may have been the problem.

I got accepted as well, but I can not access the website http://www.southalabama.edu/nursing/msnspring 2011.html
to get to the acceptance packet so I can get the forms completed by the 15th.. I am going to call in the am, but if anyone has the forms or can get me a better website..Please do..
are you working full time?.. I hear its okay until the last year.. we will see
thanks !
for those who did not get in? I applied 3 times... and finally got in.. and it wasn't a denial but the program was full, which I believe that might be the issue again..
hi magnolianurse,
the website is correct. just type it and you'll find the clear instructions on the acceptance package. you need to download it and get ready by 11/15. there are quite a few forms - physical exam verification form, tb testing and immunization forms, health insurance verification form, etc. you also need to attach copy of your cpr license. don't forget to pay for the background and drug screening test. if you still have problem opening the website, i can send you the information through email. you may want to email emily at usa for any inquiries.

I just dropped out of the ACNP program at USA. The classes were so tedious and so much reading. Way more than what I had expected and planned for. 6 chapters in the book, powerpoints and 90 study questions every 2 weeks. I feel like I just read it but did not retain or learn anything. Instructors and advisors are no help and seem like they could care less, if you finally do get a hold of one!!!! Would not recommend it. There has to be a better program out there!!
