Nothing from UF again today. I emailed Cecile Kiley two weeks ago and she said I would have a response at the end of the month. Well, that's today! I did receive a letter from the office of admissions two weeks ago asking for further proof that I'm a Florida resident, as they currently have me listed as unclassified. When I called to clarify this I should have asked if it meant I was accepted. However, I checked ISIS and was not able view the fall schedule like several other applicants have been able to, so obviously I'm not feeling very positive right about now. Did any of you receive a letter today?

Is it completely online? That was my impression as well, until I called and was told that campus visits are required once a week during one of the semesters. I thought it was odd that the website makes it look as if it's completely online. I completed my BSN as ODU, but have since moved to FL. Hopefully something has changed and it is now completely online, as I would love to continue at ODU, but weekly visits aren't an option. Good luck to you.

I applied for the pediatric DNP program. No letter yet.

I received my denial letter as well. 3.6 and over 6 years of ED and peds experience. Bummed that I didn't apply elsewhere.

Congrats jrmcdoug2!!! Were you accepted into the DNP or MSN program? Also, did you receive an email or a letter? Just curious. I'm waiting to hear from the pediatric NP (MSN) program. Thanks

I applied for the pediatric nurse practitioner program and haven't heard anything either, other than the email about 900 applicants.

Congrats on your admission. I just sent my application today for the PNP program for spring 2011.

Hi ira1027, I'm not sure. Have you talked to anyone in admissions about GPA? Their website says a minimum of 2.75, but I don't know how many applicants they get. I imagine they would accept the applicants with higher GPA's first, but I would also think they would look at experience as well. I have a high GPA, but I took 5 years off from nursing to stay home with my kids and have only worked in an office setting since returning, so I'm a little worried about that. Hopefully you will hear something soon.

Hi, Thanks for your response. I live in Tallahassee, FL. What about you? Florida State is here in Tallahassee but it's a DNP program and right now I'm really just interested in the MSN. I was going to apply to both, but now the deadline is close and I still haven't taken the GRE, which is required at FSU. So I guess I'll just apply to USA and see what happens. Good luck to you.
