  1. I was only there for one semester. I have not heard about that. That would put a lot of schools out of business!!
  2. I work with an NP that graduated from St Louis University and she liked it. I am looking at Jefferson University and St Francis now. After I wasted a great time with USA. Good luck.
  3. Yes and inconsiderate. They tell you what you want to hear to get you in and then don't return any calls or if they do are rude and belittle you. Just to get your money, it truly is cheap in any way shape or form. You do get what you pay for.
  4. I totally agree. you get what you pay for and this is just a cheap online program that does not at all prepare for you practice. I would really be concerned to see who actually graduates from the ACNP or FNP programs
  5. Where is it and how long does it take?
  6. I agree 100% with all you online people. In a world where we have to work FT and can not go to to school twice a week it is just as good to get the online ed. It is not like you get any more or less clinical hours, hands on trainining in either one!! Online shows you can actually get it done on your own. I switched from ground to online now. How is Indiana State or Southern Indiana for the MSN? Thanks and Kudos! Caroline
  7. What school? Do you like it?
  8. I am currently in a ground class that is meeting once a week and we also do online course work. The work is by no means less than any solo online class work which I have done as well. As a matter of fact I find it twice as much work and still have to go to my class every week. Have I learned any more in the ground class compared to online? Absolutely not!!! Just more time consuming and just as much busy work as online alone!!!
  9. Hi Mercedes, I plan to attend USF as well. How do you like it? How long is it and how expensive? Tahnks Caroline
  10. Hi Mercedes, I plan to attend USF as well. How is it going? How long is the NP program and how expensive is it? Thanks Caroline
  11. I agree USA is a terrible program and even so it is supposed to be cheap I paid over $ 5000 for two classes and only completed one. The other one I had to drop out because of the grades I got. No learning curve at all. They just throw you in and then you fail so now you have to repeat the class and of course pay for it again!!! I am now at a local University in the ACNP program, will graduate only 6 months after I would have at USA and I am enjoying the classes, getting A and B's and actually get a good education. The difference is incredible. Sometimes it is true, you really do get what you pay for. That's why USA is so cheap. Worst6 mistake I made so far is to waste my time enrolling in their program.
  12. I have to write a paper on Neuman as well. I am stuck!!!
  13. Hi Jenmoore I am very interested in your article but could not find it. Is there any way you could send it to me?
  14. I just dropped out of the ACNP program at USA. The classes were so tedious and so much reading. Way more than what I had expected and planned for. 6 chapters in the book, powerpoints and 90 study questions every 2 weeks. I feel like I just read it but did not retain or learn anything. Instructors and advisors are no help and seem like they could care less, if you finally do get a hold of one!!!! Would not recommend it. There has to be a better program out there!!
