Hey Hello02, its normal the feelings you are having after you found out your results was not what you expected them to be. It's totally ok and things will get better as the days go by. Try not to think so negative and please don't listen to the ones that don't know what you are going through especially if they are not supportive. You have to get around some POSITIVE ENERGY, PEOPLE OR SOMETHING because once you start feeling like your worthless, dump, stupid and all of that you start to believe it so it's ok to have your lip poked out for a little while but not to long take some time off to regroup and get back into the swing of things. I failed mine the first time and I'm now doing the hurst review and saunders review CD and book. Pace yourself don't cram and only study the things you have difficulty with. Here are some good vibes coming your way along with motivation:bow::bow::bow: You will pass the next time they say the 3rd time is a charm. You will be fine sweetpea everything will work out. :wink2:

How have you been studying? Did you get any books such as Saunders? I studied that one, and it was the best help for me. If you don't have it, I suggest getting the latest edition (or last edition if you borrow it, will be ok too) and review all the areas you have difficulty with.
Use the CD it comes with and practice as many questions as you can daily. I used to do at least 50 or more questions a day. You will see the rationale with each question. You can take breaks. Then do at least 1 or 2 10 questions quizzes, and see how you do.
The more questions you do, the better your chances or understanding how to answer NCLEX questions.
But if you don't know some content, it can be difficult anyway. Try to figure out what content you are weak in, such as electrolytes, cardiac, endocrine, etc, and review those sections in the book, as much as you can.
Also make sure you know how to prioritize since these questions are commonly asked in NCLEX now.
Don't give up, some people pass their 3rd, even 4th or more times. Hopefully you will pass next time!

Hi ...first off is this the RN or PN boards...either one...what helped me TREMENDOUSLY were the SAUNDERS flashcards and Review book....THATS IT...NO OTHER book...WHY?...everybook has a different answer on few of the questions...this is where confusion can settle in...review from the suanders and do the saunders flash cards...i swear by those...the KEY thing here is for you to get use to questions and learn HOW to answer them...just do Q and A's...TRUST me that ALL i did...this is coming from someone who ALWAYS has test anxiety...passed first try with minimum amount of questions...and as far as mom...let it roll off your shoulder..im sure she wants the best for you and is as upset about it as you are...moms stress too!..mine did when i took my ON boards and came home and told her i guessed 90% of the exam!!..LOL!!!...take a dep breath, relax, do something you enjoy to do and approach it again slowly...stick to one brand of review..Saunders helped me ALOT...good luck hun..whatever you do..DONT GIVE UP!!..God doesnt bring anyone this far to leave them!!...remember that!!...:icon_hug:
