Some hope for job searchers...

Hey everybody! Just wanted to let you guys know that I was called 2 days ago for an interview on an application I submitted ELEVEN MONTHS AGO. I applied for an NA job to work some for experience and networking while I get through nursing school...submitted MANY applications to area hospitals, like probably in the neighborhood of 50 apps over a year. I'm fortunate enough to have a gift shop job and babysitting job to have supplemented our family income over the last year, but I'm super excited to get called for this interview! I mostly just wanted to post this because I had pretty much given up on applying for NA jobs- they all seemed to want more experience than I had (how do you get experience if you nobody will hire you, you know?). But now almost a year later I'm getting an interview and hopefully an offer if I really put the charm on :saint:... So if you're still waiting on hearing about job apps, be patient! I guess good things really do come to those who wait sometimes. Hope you're all doing well. Xo!

I got a call back from one place a year after I applied...but by then I had found a nursing job and wasn't really interested in working there anymore. It is important to be patient, yes...but that doesn't mean you shouldn't stop searching while you wait :)

Good luck with your interview!

Good luck in your interview, just pray believe in God and you, everything will be better soon.
