Solano Community College Fall 2024

Published

Hi, future nurses! Creating this post for those who applied to Solano Community College with a 2024 start date.

Has anyone heard anything yet? Previous community threads here talk about how you don't hear anything until February or possibly March, but that seems so far away.

Fingers crossed for all those who applied!

Note from allnurses Staff

To help all of those looking to get started at Solano, we've put together a bit more information about the program below.

Solano Community College Nursing Program

Solano Community College is based in Fairfield, California. The college offers a quality two-year ADN program with a most recent NCLEX pass rate of 87.18% in 2022/2023.

There are between 35-45 students taking the NCLEX exams in a given year, so you can expect roughly 50 students in your cohort as not all will continue the program through its entirety.

Nursing Program Tuition and Costs

The estimated total program costs are $8,000 to $8,500, or roughly $4,000 in annual tuition costs.

Nursing Application Deadlines

The deadline for acceptance into the fall nursing program, which starts in August each year, is September 1 – September 30. For this cohort, you should have already applied for entrance if you'd like to start in August 2024.

I heard back from the program:

"An email will go out soon regarding the location of the orientation meeting. It will be on 4/29/24 as stated in the initial email. Another email notification will go out soon with the exact room number. The orientation will be held on the main campus.”

I guess we just need to be patient! See you all soon.

Thank you so much for sharing! 🩷

Has anyone received orientation details yet?

Nope!! I imagine next week probably Friday before Monday of orientation 🙈

Does anyone know if we're an alternate and we get in, how would we register for classes if it opens next week and we don't find out till August?

I'm getting a little antsy. I wish they would at least tell us our alternate numbers.  Is anyone else waiting on acceptances for any other schools?

I'm waiting on Evergreen. But I know from an email that they won't tell us our number. I wish they would send information for orientation soon. I need to plan for it.

I already told my job that I need the day off because it's supposedly 4 hours long.

Orientation details!

I didn't get an email, I'm an alternate

Now I did!! Yay!!

I'm an alternate and I just got one, it was a little after Marina posted.

I'm curious if any of the alternates have checked when their registration date and time is for? When I looked it had my admit term as fall 2024, do you think that is a default for all alternates?

Mine looks the same. I'm sure it's because we're nursing majors and it's nothing else just yet. I'm just hoping that some of us alternates get spots at orientation on Monday.
