Hi, future nurses! Creating this post for those who applied to Solano Community College with a 2024 start date.
Has anyone heard anything yet? Previous community threads here talk about how you don't hear anything until February or possibly March, but that seems so far away.
Fingers crossed for all those who applied!
Note from allnurses Staff
To help all of those looking to get started at Solano, we've put together a bit more information about the program below.
Solano Community College is based in Fairfield, California. The college offers a quality two-year ADN program with a most recent NCLEX pass rate of 87.18% in 2022/2023.
There are between 35-45 students taking the NCLEX exams in a given year, so you can expect roughly 50 students in your cohort as not all will continue the program through its entirety.
The estimated total program costs are $8,000 to $8,500, or roughly $4,000 in annual tuition costs.
The deadline for acceptance into the fall nursing program, which starts in August each year, is September 1 – September 30. For this cohort, you should have already applied for entrance if you'd like to start in August 2024.
MarinaK said:I had to start over and recreate an account because you HAVE to use the @students.solano.edu account. So, I also had to use a different phone number because my phone number was linked to the first account I created.
I made that mistake initially too. But have you been able to actually purchase the bundle of books?
Yes, it was a pain in the *** but I finally got it to work. They gave us two stapled packets for evolve and one single paper (I remember thinking, "why isn't it just all stapled together?” I finally used the URL provided on the singular paper that says "save money on your required course materials" at the top, and then it was easy to add to cart. Hope that helps? Let me know!

So weird! I have looked up at think several times and it always says that it's inactive. I have even reached out to support and they say they can't pull it up either. I haven't tried a different number though. Maybe I'll try that. Also on the packet it says to make a profile under faculty? When I reached out to support they say we are not suppose to sign up under faculty. So I didn't understand that either.
