HI
i m on h4 , when i m going to apply for nursing here in dallas , they ask me social securiy# , and there is no other alternate for it .
is there any way i can get it ?
if not .
what i have to do to get in for nursing ?
F1 visa is ok for me and how to get it ?
PLEASE HELP ME

check out the international forum but if you haven't got a SSN then you just leave it blank

Do you mean to apply for nursing school or nursing license? If you mean school, ask the school if it's ok to leave it blank. If it is a license, Texas I believe will not release a license without a SSN.

Student visas do not give you a SSN# as you cannot work legally in the US with that, you just need to include a copy of your passport to show that you have a legal visa to be in the US and you will be just fine. Tuition is cheaper with the H4 visa, as your spouse is paying taxes, with the F-1, you will get much higher tuition.
