Or from different time zones?
Why are you here at 4:30 am?

Nope, I'm evening shift and just got off. It's not 4:30am here.
Time zone, then.
I'm so messed up on nights!
How was your shift?

You got it. Off tonight (Saturday) but work tonight (Sunday). Also a different time zone. Hi, Sue!
Hi, Cali!
Busy! Challenging. Anxiety provoking. Self worth questioning. But overall, it was fine. Thanks for asking!
Good. I'd love emergency but I can imagine you're on a steep learning curve.
I need to move on from AN to my homework that needs attention! But I bet I won't.
To say the least....I even managed to tick off the Nicest Hospitalist in the Universe tonight. Funny, he even sounds nice when he's scolding you. That's okay, I'm working on that thick skin ED nurses are supposed to have.
You doing EC? I just dropped my classes. It's been a hideous year and I'm tired. I simply have nothing left over for school.
Soon you'll need this for your skin.

i'm a night shifter! haven't worked in a month tho, but i have never been able to switch from the night shift schedule to a normal one even when i was working days.
can't sleep. anxiety, i think is a big part of this right now. waiting patiently to go into labor but it's not happening on it's own yet.
