Me toooo!!!!!!!!!! also in NY, took my mine today at 12:30 and i swear maybe half of my exam was SATA. after 1-3 multiple choice i would get 2 or even 3 sata in a row, it started freaking me out, but i told myself to calm down. and at 75 i clicked next and i was done! just did the PVT and got the good pop up, so relieved!!!
congrats what did you use to study
Thanks!
I did kaplan course, did 100 qbanks a day, reviewed saunders 4th ed esp cardiac and meds, endocrine and meds and maternity and meds chapters, saunders cd, I also had an nclex flashcards app on my phone that i would do constantly, and that random facts thread helped alot! all together I did about 4000 questions, but u must review content too and that saunders book was the best!

Did u test at Lake sucess? thats where I tested, someone told me that that place gives alot of SATA's but I didnt want to believe that because its a randomized test, a testing center cannot give anything,so I went there anyway, but I dont know what to think now, but that was a crazy amount of SATA's.

Hi!
Just took my nclex today in NY at 8am, I had so many SATA's I stopped counting after the 20th one! I had like 5 in a row! and thats when I thought I would breakdown, I also had one drag and drop, no math and alot of priority and infection. Its terrible because u dont know how your doing, I found it hard(esp with the sata's).it finally stopped at 75 questions and got the good pop-up on the pvt!
I just want to thank allnurses for the advice and tips, and for everyone taking it soon my advice would be to pray because it works! I prayed rigtht at the computer before I started! Dont get flustered, take your time! walk in there with confidence take a break if you need to. Don't have the mind set of ending at 75 questions, be prapared to stay all 6 hours( I had a bag of snacks prepared ).
I know I still have to wait for the official results, but getting the good popup will help keep anxiety level down while I wait.
Good Luck everybody and God Bless!
