Just curious, What do they teach in Nursing School these days?
I stabbed my pinky finger with a damn ice pick once...maybe I should have cried for two days and called everyone in my family.

Those who have ALREADY taken the Nclex in NYC HELP! (I.D Issue/?)
Angie928, I took my exam at 100 William st, and I didn't see them scan the ID, but either way it doesn't matter because I got both my non driver id and renewed my permit same month I took the nclex. As long as your state id is not expired then your are fine.

according to everyone on the site and my classmates who have already taken the exam, the PVT works!! i know its not the same as seeing the official results, but i hope that gives you some comfort.

I just panicked and changed my date!!
The nerves are starting to set in! just changed my exam date from wed @ 8 to thurs @ 12:30 i'm telling myself that 12:30 is a better time and i'll be more alert. Plus i'll get one more day to do some more practice questions. not sure how much difference that is going to make anyone else panicking? anyway, just trying to vent and share my anxiety Good luck to everyone, we can do this!!

GN interview at Florida Hospital Winter Park
Hi all, I applied for the gn program at florida hospital and i just received a message saying that they want to set up an interview! I have not been able to get in contact with hr yet, but i have a few questions. I'm from out of state, would i have to fly out there for the interview or is a phone interview possible? Also, anyone has experience with the Winter Park campus? How is it? What is it like living in/around Winter Park? I'm a bit apprehensive about moving down there if offered the position . I'm from ny and i feel it would be a major change of pace. Any information is greatly appreciated, thanks!!!

Just accepted to nursing school, don't know what to do.
As a lot of people said, get all your requirements together, i.e. CPR, physical, immunizations, etc. AND...if you can, get your hands on the syllabus for your class(es) and start reading ahead!!!!!!! It is going to be so much information in so little time that your head is going to spin within the first week if not day. So my advice would be to read ahead as much as you can, believe me, you will thank yourself later. Congratulations and Good luck!!!!
