Congrats! That is awesome - keep it up. Quesiton for you. Are you a first time LPN student? I very much want to to the LPN program near me but '''scared' :*( I also have 2 little ones and nervous I wont be able to juggle everything for 14 months at 3 nights a week, etc.
Can you tell me more about the program u are doing and how its going? Thanks very much in advance. This is all still very new to me.
@bugandbee22 - Yes, I am a first time LVN/LPN student. I was not scared, a little nervous, but nonetheless -- EXCITED!!! I attend 5 days a week Mon-Fri from 8:30am - 3:30pm Mon,Tue,Wed and Thurs, Fri from 8:00am - 5:00pm we have skills on those two days, until we start clinicals in about a week and those hours vary. I have a lot of family help, to help watch my boys so that's a HUGE plus!
Basically we are learning the foundations of Nursing which is a HUGE factors on our grades and we are also learning, Med-Math, Pharmacology and A&P all in ONE term it's a lot -- but it's very much so do-able! Just study, study, study! and also do the homework! Thing's are going good thus far! be positive and have a strong shoulder! I wish you mucho luck!
I am doing this for my boys and myself and it's all worth it...
I envy you!! I start monday and I have a 4 year old and a 9 month old! I also plan to work 12 hours/week....argh I am soooooo scared. My 4 year old is special needs and is like having 10 kids...I also have to keep telling myself its for our future!! Maybe I should get off here and go read my book, even before school starts :)
