I had figured that this might be an interesting topic of discussion.
What color are the uniforms that you all wear to clinical rotations? I currently attend an LPN-to-RN bridge program. The scrubs at the school that I currently attend are maroon. We have the option of wearing a white warm-up jacket on cool days.
When I was attending an LVN program back in 2004 and 2005, our uniforms consisted of a royal blue scrub top and white pants. We also had the option of wearing a white warm-up jacket on cold days.
I'm also in Texas.I live in Texas so first I'm not sure where you even find a turtle neck, I am hoping that I might get by with a long sleeve shirt that is all white. I hate the idea of having a tight collar around my neck.
Inexpensive turtlenecks can be found at the local Wal-Mart or Target store.

Why white? Simple...easier to tell when it's been laundered...IMO.
White top with hunter green piping, hunter green pants, optional white warm-up jacket, white all leather shoes. For regular class, hunter green polo (w/ school logo) and whatever pants.
