Sleep schedule

I am a CNA and some days I work a 12 hour shift 6:00 p.m. to 6p.m,Other days I work to 2 to 10 ,And also worked 10:00 p.m. to 6A was wondering how to get my sleep schedule under control so I'm not sleeping up until the time I have to get ready for work

Gee, Natrose12! If you can get adequate sleep working both MNs and Eves, 8 & 12 hour shifts, you've got the battle won!

When I worked a combination of 8 & 12 hours shifts, I had a terrible sleep schedule, either suffering from insomnia or hypersomnia.

Good luck to you in finding a solution!

That is a difficult schedule. Do you have a husband/SO, children, family that doesn't understand shift work??? Just try calling them at 2AM if they call you at 2PM.

It is an awful situation. It will pay off to have people figure you out .
