Potty accidents
Does the defecation follow a pattern, such as during recess after lunch? If so, can student try to use the bathroom after lunch and before going outside? How old is the student? Can student have an adult such as Mom flush toilet with him separately from using it to desensitise him to the sound(school toilets are likely louder than the toilet at home)?

Can night shift cause missed periods
I guess I am the odd one out here, I worked night shift for 2 years starting when I was 32, still in the prime of fertility. My periods became so irregular that I had to constantly have supplies at the ready. I do think a specialist is in order if you want to get pregnant, but the stress combined with night shift can cause irregularities. See a doctor and good luck to you!

Verbal abuse ... what are my rights?
The verbal abuse and racial slurs are unacceptable. The staffs' response can and should be care planned, along with a contract drawn up, perhaps by a social worker. One of my instructors in school used several days of class time putting all class members into various situations that mimicked being dependent on others for care. Blindfolds for some, noise-cancelling headphones, arms and legs immobilized, etc. It was a very fruitful few days. Every one of the quadriplegic patients I have cared for have been very time-consuming, probably due to the fact that there is so little in their control.

Hope parents don't send these to school!
I think a product like this one would cause a classroom full of coughers. I see the benefit of home use, although if a child isn't old enough to not choke on a cough drop a sucker might not be safe either.

Nicotine pre- employment testing
Next up is BMI/blood glucose and cholesterol readings. Are we willing to sacrifice our protected health information to get a job? I am of normal weight, no health flags. But what is next???

Essential Oil Overkill
Viva, I am horribly allergic to lavender too. Nurses technically aren't even supposed to wear perfume, who thought up this policy to put it all over patients? Essential oils placed on skin without a carrier oil can cause skin irritation. OP, can you bring up that fact with management? I doubt a facility-aquired wound as a result of an unordered oil applied to skin would look good to your state surveyors.

Funny kiddos
I had a 7 year old boy that looked really glum, I asked him what was wrong. He responded, "I am full of winter!"

Parents keep medicating their febrile kids in the morning
The confusing part about this situation is the fact that a child can get dangerously ill very quickly, and they tank even faster. Why aren't these parents concerned that the child will develop a secondary infection like pneumonia that could kill their child? And who is so rude and entitled that they think it's okay to expose everyone else's children? School is not daycare, a child is there to learn. That is impossible if they are ill.

Suprise...
I just told my 10 year old your joke, and he cracked up!

List the most frivolous complaints you've received
And yet it is almost impossible for an elderly dementia client to get help with medication management and cooking, so they end up in a nursing home, at a much higher cost. Sad.

Glasses for working
I second the wrap, like for sports, to keep them on your face. You do not want to lose your glasses into the soiled brief of a patient. Especially if they have C Diff. Ask me how I know this.
