SJSU Spring 2018

Hey guys, I have not yet seen a thread for the SJSU Spring 2018 Nursing Program... so I decided to make one! I know it's a little early to start posting, but I am too excited and wanted to meet others that are applying! Here is a thread for all questions/concerns/comments! Hope to see and meet you all!!

Also for the Functional abilities release form are we suppose to print it out and then hand initial it and then scan it and upload t or can we do it on compute?? Sorry you guys, don't want to mess it up.

Hey guys! I just submitted my app on nursingCAS, but I noticed on the pdf file of my app my college transcripts were listed as unverified. They were received and processed by nursingCAS but unverified. The website said it takes upwards of 4 weeks to get verified but should I be worried?

For me it took less than 4 weeks. Maybe around 1 week, but you never know it's different for everybody. there's still time for it to get verified even after the app closes. It's just they won't send out ur app to the schools until everything verified.

DO NOT DO IT ON THE COMPUTER. Print it, fill it out, and scan it. If you do it on the computer it will not show up. The first time I applied I did it on a PDF and ******** emailed me saying I had to re do it.

thank you so much!!! Also, for the required ID scans, she wanted us to have in one doc. Did you scan them and put them into .doc and then uploaded or how???

And for WST did you juts took a scree shot and upload that? TEAS: just download the test report and upload it??

HI guys, I just finished assigning my pre-requisite courses on nursing cas. I took two public speaking classes, one at EVC and another class at SJSU (idk why) but I ended up getting A's in both of the classes. Would I have to put both of the classes under the public speaking section, or only one? I took the EVC course back in 2014, and the second class at SJSU during spring 2016

Hi vuhsache! I believe you have to put down only the first attempt, so the one at EVC 2014. But since you got A's in both it's all good! Hope that helped

Hi bubblytea, I scanned my ID and birth cert and put them into a word doc and saved it as a PDF. For the WST, my friend who's in the program just screenshot the the whole page with the WST result and sent the PDF. And you are right for the TEAS. (:

For the functional competency paper there's one section on the last page where it said that you had to type your name, are we allowed to type that part in?

I talked to Dr. ****** and she said to print it out and do everything for Competency paper with hand and then scan and upload. Also are we suppose to xerox or something along those line for the scans?? Because thats what ******** told me :/ kind of lost right now

Also is there anyone who is a transfer student and starting at SJSU this Fall 2017? Because I am completely lost on the colleges attended part. Are we suppose to list SJSU as a college we are attending? If yes, do we send a transcript request form?

Hey, I transferred to SJSU this fall, and we don't have to enter SJSU as one of the colleges attended. :)
