SJSU Spring 2018

Hey guys, I have not yet seen a thread for the SJSU Spring 2018 Nursing Program... so I decided to make one! I know it's a little early to start posting, but I am too excited and wanted to meet others that are applying! Here is a thread for all questions/concerns/comments! Hope to see and meet you all!!

does anyone know when the people not in the RN to BSN program will find out? I know it should probably be this week or next week but I was just wondering if anyone may have heard anything.

I went into the nursing office today and asked if they had any updates on the feedback for Spring 2018 applicants and they said they will send the letters out in the mail most likely tomorrow but at the latest Wednesday. This is exciting and we should be getting letters soon! Not sure about email updates though all she said was getting a letter/packet in the mail. Good luck everyone!

I havent heard anything but I hope it comes before thanksgiving... I live close to san jose so Im hoping if she sent out the letters in the mail today that some of us will start hearing by tomorrow.

so we aren't picking any class for Spring semester at sjsu until we get in the nursing major right?

For Spring semester, I highly recommend picking your back up major classes right now, just in case things don't go as planned. As for Nursing classes, you pick that after you get accepted.

cThe problem is I have nothing to choose and I'm only interested in nursing x-x. I have already taken all the pre-requisites n etc. I'm taking Health 100w writing class atm. I already took General Psy and a child development class that is equivalent to Chad70 at Mission College. I don't want to waste my units on unnecessary class x-x I guess Ill take spring semester off and see what I want to do for my backup major if I get rejected.

I feel you, I'm only interested in Nursing too. Have you taken all the other sjsu studies courses: Area R, S, V? If you want, you can check out Public Health. It's currently my backup major.

Sadly, I am taking them for this Fall x-x. This why I am kinda stuck lol. And Ill check Public Health out :)
