SJSU Spring 2017 (Questions/Comments/Concerns)

I looked around to see if anyone had started a thread but nothing

Yeah I guess I'll do that too. Good luck! By the way, SJSU can send the E-Transcripts to NursingCAS which takes A LOT quicker. I might just do both electronic copy and physical copy to play it safe though :p

My previous school, Foothill College uses nursingCAS electronic vendor for official transcripts. Many of you hopefuls should check to see if yours does too.

I went to two community colleges that don't send E-Transcripts to NursingCAS. So those transcripts would have to be sent in by mail right?

Yes, by mail is the only other option.

For those who took the 8/13 TEAS test, the scores are out all!

My application GPA is 3.57 and TEAS is 88%, making my impaction score 6.50. Good luck everyone!

Yep, the 8/13 TEAS is online!

My GPA is 3.67 and TEAS is 91%, so 6.71 impaction score.

even if you scored an 11 or a 12 on the WST, you still have to take NURS 100W. Your not waived from the class! Just letting you know if no one had told you yet!

Hi Guys! Good luck with the application next week. My GPA is 3.88 and TEAS is 82.7%, so my impaction score is 6.63!

Hey everyone! Ended up with 78.7% for my best TEAS score but that's ok! I'm leaning HARD on my GPA. GPA 3.94 + TEAS = 6.56. Good luck everyone!

Wow!!!! Everyone did so well! Good luck to all. I'm a little on the low side so I'm freaking out. my gpa is 3.71 and i got a 77.3% on my teas (2nd attempt). Impaction score is 6.29....

Congrats to everyone who did better and if you did not, honestly, the test does not reflect what you are truly capable of (not knocking those who did good). I wish everyone good luck as we get ready to submit our applications.

I don't know if any of you guys know each other, but I'm really curious to know if any of you have a good grasp, or can make a pretty good estimate of how many people will be applying

Also, do any of you know which other CSUs are accepting spring transfers? So far I know SFSU and SSU are for sure accepting.

Sue Malloy told us at the transfer orientation in May that there were just about 60 applicants for spring 2016. So basically everyone got in. We are only competing with other SJSU students.
