SJSU Spring 2017 (Questions/Comments/Concerns)

I looked around to see if anyone had started a thread but nothing

You got it! CPR/AHA or BLS/ARC. I took the CPR from ARC too only to find out it is worthless in healthcare. Good luck!

I have not received this email you speak of but have an appointment tomorrow at Quest Diagnostics for my drug screen.

thanks! I was so confused what you guys were talking about at first. But, in simpler terms, we need a CPR certificate that's Basic Life Support (BLS) aka Healthcare Provider CPR from either American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA) correct?

I had taken a CPR class at SJSU from ARC but it's not for a BLS... but for Adult and Child First Aid/CPR/AED... which I am fairly upset about since I had to pay $45 dollars for and spent 3 hours on a Sunday afternoon for.

Thanks for the clarifying everyone! and by the way have you guys receive your email from SupportFoxForm (something like that) yet?

Hi everyone! quick question, when you went on castle branch, for the county criminal, did you put the county you're originally from? Or Santa Clara county?

I put Santa Clara, which is where I live.

@JennyBrezy Wow your quick! I didn't even turn in my response yet ha! Did you just called to make an appointment for your drug test at one of the facility??

BTW does anyone know anything about the "Professional " requirement? Are we suppose to pay for this??

There is a download/print out in the drug screen section. On that there was a list of locations for Quest Diagnostics. I went to Quest Diagnostics website and picked a location and time.

The is through NSO only. That information is on the schools website. It's $23 a year.

Girl you my life saver right now. Bless your soul for these responses

the one I'm taking is in the Sata Clara area, but they have multiple spots, its up to you to chose your most convenient location, but make sure you take a class no online cause it says CastleBranch doesn't accept it if its online

Ha! So far I've spent $400 not including the $900 for texts! looks like we are gonna have to get used to spending $$$$ especially with certifications/licenses/insurance

There's also a class through Ice Solutions in Fremont on December 8. I'll be taking that one!

American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers - 12/

For the , on the NSO website, did you have to do a quote? Because I did and it's telling me that I have to pay $104 not $23

I did not do a quote...

So where did you go on the website to pay $23?
