SJSU Spring 2017 (Questions/Comments/Concerns)

I looked around to see if anyone had started a thread but nothing

attachment.php?attachmentid=23330&stc=1Hope this helps those of you that are worried sleep a little better tonight.

Hmm, I didn't take the test at SJSU though. I registered for the test via ATI's website and I took the test at some random facility in Santa Clara. I don't remember anywhere in the application where it said we had to send our official TEAS transcripts to NursingCas or SJSU...otherwise wouldn't there be a section reseverved for TEAS verification in the app? All I remeber was having to ulpoad a screenshot of our scores, not actually having to send the scores í ½í¸³

I don't remember it either, but I did research other institutions and they wanted you to send official transcripts from the school and test. I assumed it was the same for SJSU. I would get in contact with Dr. Malloy ASAP just to make sure you are good or what you should do cause I assumed that we would have to send in our scores to what ever school we applied to.

Yeah, I just did. Thanks for the info!

G33L is correct. If you need more reassurance you can look at the last section of the application on nursing CAS where it says that no further action is needed if you tested at SJSU, besides the screen shot/upload.

Does it note anywhere in the application what you need to do if you didn't test at SJSU?

In the last section "program materials" on the first page at the bottom. Under "supplemental criteria" section #2

Good news guys. I emailed the nursing department and they said 200 applied, but only 90 of them had complete applications which they are reviewing now!

Thank you for update. A couple weeks back, I went to the office and Dr Molly told me that more than 200 people applied for spring 2017 through Nursing CAS but she was not sure that how many applicants are qualified and have completed application. Now with your update, we know that only 90 applicants are qualified and are in the pool.

So I contacted Sue Malloy and she said I'm good. All I needed was an uploaded screenshot like the rest. Good news for anyone here that used an outside vendor like I did

good thing. it would be really messed up if they didn't consider you just because of that

Does anyone know how many students are usually admitted each semester?
