SJSU Spring 2017 (Questions/Comments/Concerns)

I looked around to see if anyone had started a thread but nothing

If youre at sjsu 1B does not articulate. it is english 2 that articulates as far as I know. One of my friends took 1B and she was taking an A3 bc 1B didnt articulate. Do check and reach out to make sure. I hope it works out for you.

You can use Engl 1B to fulfill either area A3 or C2! If you go on your mysjsu portal and select "My Academics" and then click on "View my Course History," you'll see the area fulfillments for each class. You're good.

So I completed my application, paid the application fee, and all my transcripts have been received by NursingCas. Only problem is that it's still waiting to be verified. If it's not verified by the deadline, will my application be denied? Or am I ok?

Once you submit everything before 30th, you are fine, and you should not be worried about when it is going to be verified.

Applications are coming to an end! Does anyone have any info on how many people applied for this enrollment period? I know last spring, it was really low, so almost anyone that applied got in.

I don't know but I feel there's gotta be more than 70...this semester

Yea honestly I feel like the odds aren't in my favor. The transfers that are applying are kinda putting us at a disadvantage :( Good luck to ALL!!

Sigh...I hope most of the transfers end up taking another schools admission over sjsu's. I'm already comfortable here :/

I don't think transfers were allowed to apply for spring. I'm pretty sure Dr. Malloy mentioned that at a group advising.

Oh shoot, thats what I was thinking at first too and it even said on the NursingCas page that they arent accepting any transfers. Do you know how many are expected to apply this term?

Spring pool is just between current SJSU students!

Yup I thought the Spring semester was closed to SJSU students only but I spoke with an advisor and they clarified that transfer students that already have a Bachelor's in something else and are interested in getting a second Bachelor's are open to apply for the Spring. Hope that makes sense.
