Hey guys! I am creating this forum for students applying to the Spring 2022 BSN program at SJSU. I wanted a place where we can ask each other questions!
Sorry, this is a dumb question, but I sent my transcript from one of my colleges to “NursingCAS - Transcript Deartment” rather than “NursingCAS - American Association of Colleges of Nursing,” because that is the only thing I could find. Is that the same thing? I’m scared that it's two different places. Thanks!
Hi everyone, not sure if anyone or know anyone else who had the same issue as me but basically the coordinator for the nursing school at SJ has asked me for a CURRENT U.S passport, US birth certificate, or permanent card. My interpretation during the application process was that they needed it as proof that you are a U.S citizen (so I didn't think that my U.S passport being expired mattered & I wasn't born in the U.S so birth certificate was a no) but it does matter. And basically, I have an appointment for my U.S passport to be renewed on Monday but that's 2 days before the application deadline. And she basically said I have till early November to submit the document to HER. To be honest, I don't even have any specific questions to ask but I guess I just need some advice. Anything will help thank you. It just breaks my heart knowing that they might not even review my application because of this. ?
Hi! I'm so sorry for intruding but I wanted to ask if it's possible to apply to SJSU from a community college (De Anza) as a pre-nursing track if you have less than 60 semester units in the fall and apply to the Spring nursing program? If not what major do you recommend to transfer to since I know people transfer to fall semester in order to apply to the Spring semester.
Thank you so much in advance!
Hello! You guys all have amazing scores. My calculated impaction score is a 6.46... It’s not competitive at all, which makes me very scared and anxious. Nonetheless I am praying for the best as they estimate only 140 applications will be eligible. So I’m hoping I make it just enough to enter that 60 or at the very least make the waitlist ? Good luck everyone!
Hey guys! This is my second time applying to the program. If I do not get in and end up getting my ADN at one of the community colleges I applied to. Will I still be able to apply to San Jose State's RN-BSN program? I know we are only allowed to apply twice to the BSN program but I am not sure if that disqualifies me from the RN-BSN program as well.

I sent through Parchment and it was super easy ? 7 bucks for each e-transcript I think...
