SJSU BSN program Spring 2022

Hey guys! I am creating this forum for students applying to the Spring 2022 BSN program at SJSU. I wanted a place where we can ask each other questions!

Congrats everyone! I truly am so so so happy for you guys. I'm on the waiting list. If anyone is not going to accept their admission, could you please let me know so I can calculate if I'm going to have a chance. I really hope that I get to meet all of you and make amazing memories. ? Thanks!

Was one of the 10-15 people put on the alternate list. For any future applicants wondering, my TEAS was 92.7%,  3.79, pre-req GPA, and 4.0 Science GPA

I think waitlist people will get in! There are usually 15-20 apps that don't accept from what I have heard. Can't wait to welcome you all to the group!

I did the same! If you don't mind me asking how many points did you apply to evergreen for the multi criteria section??

Sure thing! I did not have that many points because although I got my CNA license this Summer, but have not worked as a CNA. TEAS was 94 and I am prior bacc with mostly A's in prereqs, but that still put me at around mid 60s as I haven't taken the less universally required courses that EVC gives extra points to  (Pharm etc)

Hi I don’t know if anyone is willing to help, I’m actually applying for sjsu fall 2023 but I finished CC and my big 8 consists of a 3.67 GPA. I’m wondering what will I need to get on my TEAS exam in order to have a chance at getting accepted into sjsu nursing program? Please be brutally honest with me, I know my GPA isn’t that great so my TEAS exam needs to be higher. I am also new to this website to I apologize if I’m in the wrong post/area

The suggested TEAS score is at least 92%, so I would try to get even higher than that. Regarding your GPA, if you don't get in for Fall, you might try Spring!
