SJSU BSN program Spring 2022

Published

Hey guys! I am creating this forum for students applying to the Spring 2022 BSN program at SJSU. I wanted a place where we can ask each other questions!

I'm not sure. I wish it were shorter, but it is also an affordable program so I am hoping I get accepted!

Did anyone just transfer to SJSU for Fall 2021? I'm not sure if I have to put SJSU as one of my schools attended since I just started this semester, and I don't have any completed grades from SJSU. I'm not taking any corequisites this semester either. Would be grateful to anyone that has any knowledge on this, so I can submit my application! Thank you.

NVM I got my answer, you don't have to submit those transcripts since they aren't posted/completed if you are in the same situation. Just submitted my application.

What do you guys think of SJSU's program length? 2.5 years..I wonder why this is so long compared to other programs which are on average, 15 months to 2 years.

A lot of programs are accelerated.

Yeah, I see what you mean.

I'm currently in the process of sending transcripts to nursingcas and was wondering if anyone used credential solutions to send transcripts? I'm a bit confused because on the credential solutions website, it says sjsu can send a pdf but cannot send electronic. I have no idea what that means.

sorry if this is a dumb question, I just don't want to mess up on sending my transcripts ?

I sent through Credential Solutions. Don't worry about the language on the website. It will be an official e transcript.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any success with receiving a fee waiver for the nursing application? I applied a few days ago & I’m done with my application but it says I can’t submit it yet until I received an email regarding the fee waiver..I don't know if it really takes 4 weeks to get it approve or even denied.

Anyone else obsessing checking their email, as though you would hear anything back? Haha. Evidently, I have slightly more than 90 units from various schools, as I've changed my major a few times over the last decade, so I am worried that I will not be accepted.

Definitely obsessing. I am a post bacc so I am checking My SJSU one to do list like ten times a day ha ha, even though they accepted my transcripts and right now I have nothing "to do." ?

Oh hey, I don't think community College credits count toward the total...

I applied two days ago and they told me it takes at least two weeks but I just got the fee waiver sent today!

Good luck to everyone too! I think the transcript should be only a few business days because that’s how fast it was when I was applying to SJSU. I’m praying I didn’t mess up on some part of my application and everything goes smoothly for everyone else too. ?

Hi! I also attended De Anza and Foothill. How did you send applications from these colleges to NursingCAS? Through mail, Parchment, or Credential Solutions?

Thanks!
