SJSU BSN program Spring 2022

Published

Hey guys! I am creating this forum for students applying to the Spring 2022 BSN program at SJSU. I wanted a place where we can ask each other questions!

So I am filling out the TEAS section under "standardized tests"... Is there another place where we put the TEAS transcript from the ATI website?

I saw it under the program materials! You need the first page of your downloaded score report, and you just upload it under the documents section.

I put the info in both places just in case.

The application is open! I was wondering if filling out the achievements/experience/license/certification section is necessary for the supporting information part. It should only be based on GPA and our TEAS score now right?

I left that part blank.

My application is in! I had 3 transcripts I had to send, so I really hope they get there soon and I did the ordering correctly! AHHHHH! Good luck to us all!

Thank you, I’m going to do the same ?

Good luck to everyone too! I think the transcript should be only a few business days because that’s how fast it was when I was applying to SJSU. I’m praying I didn’t mess up on some part of my application and everything goes smoothly for everyone else too. ?

Hey guys! I took my pre reqs at De Anza (quarter system). 2084675565_ScreenShot2021-08-21at5_22_46PM.thumb.png.a2c1a91f059d173888738d08f43989d5.png

Do I need to change the number of units per class to fit SJSU's semester system when inputting my classes? For example, De Anza's micro class is 6 units but at SJSU it's 5.

I hope that makes sense!

No, just put what the original number of units is and you should be good. ?

Thank you!

When filling out the standardized test area, do we need to put both of our TEAS test scores if we took it twice? I know we need to upload only the highest score for the documents section but I'm not too sure about the standardized test area. Thank you!

Just put your highest ?

What do you guys think of SJSU's program length? 2.5 years..I wonder why this is so long compared to other programs which are on average, 15 months to 2 years.
