Why is it that no one ever gets sick or needs to see the nurse during assemblies, movies, and special activity days? Could someone please clue me in?

Makes you wonder, huh???? Yet, on the other hand.....you try to get screenings done or eat lunch and EVERYBODY on campus is knocking on death's door!!!!

This reminded me of the group field day that my elementary schools held this spring. They each usually hold their own activities, but this year, they combined for a competition among the schools. Due to the need for more space, it was held at the high school.
I had a blissful day of quiet to catch up on records. The poor high school nurse was swamped with skinned knees, overheated kiddos, upset tummies from the picnic lunch, etc. I still owe her for that day!

Early dismissal days are the same way. No one came in that day.
