wondering how the program is going for anyone that is in it, thanks, applied tonight and just want to make sure I pick the right school.
I have to take the Statistics refresher course too, because my last class was about 7 years ago! I was given two options for the course and I'm not sure which one is better. I'm going to go part-time. I'm starting a case manager position next month working 40hrs a week and I have kids, so I'm kinda worried about the clinical portion. I hope I figure something out by that time. I'm going to try to stay positive!
I'm a case manager now working 40 hrs a week, I"ll be leaving my position to go to school full time...sort of sucks but I have to do what I can. I have seen on the facebook pages that the Universal class was really hard, no comments thus far on the Straighterline course. I think I'm going to do the SL course first since it's cheaper and if I can't make it through I"ll cancel and pay for the Universal course LOL...I have plenty of time to get it done though. I don't start until March!

I was thinking of taking the SL course too, since it's cheaper. I actually did really well in my Stats class, but they said my class was too old.. I have to get on the ball here, because I start in January!
How do you know your application has been reviewed? Did you call your admissions person? I haven't received any emails yet but then again it has only been a week. I am trying to wait for a response from Simmons before I start applying to other schools. If I am accepted then I won't need to apply to any other schools.

I e-mailed my advisor once to twice per week asking for status updates.
Congrats, Tasha!
I too, applied at Simmons for the FNP program. I am anxiously waiting to hear back. I applied November 4th. I had everything completed. I had a 3.0 in my RN classes.. but that involves all my courses at the school I took before I was an RN major as well. I had all B-/B's in the courses, A's in most sciences. I had straight A's in my BSN online program. I am nervous because of my lack of nursing experience. I have only worked at a long term care facility and a drug and alcohol detox. It seems as though some of you applied right around when I did and have heard back already..ekkksss!!
