I will be wearing a lab coat. I get cold easily as well. Most hospitals air conditioning is too cold for me. I can take it off if I am too hot. I don't want to think about being uncomfortable with the temp in the room. It will uncomfortable enough with a CE looking at me! And yes extra pocket space is good.
I agree with beach nurse and anjule! I live in Louisiana so 70s with a breeze and i might be a bit chilly! Ridiculous i know! Hospitals are usually freezing in my experiences and when i get really cold, i cant control the shaking! Once i went to see family in Oklahoma and it was literally 20degrees outside....i was shaking so bad from being cold- I looked like i was having a seizure!! AND i was on a date!! Lololol!! Lab coat it is!
I'm cold natured but I believe the extra adrenaline will cause me to feel warmer than usual. I'm usually cold at work but when I am in a really "think on your toes" situation, the jacket usually comes off. Besides when I do wear a scrub jacket I'm so clumsy that I get easily hung on the door handles. I think I'll forgo a jacket for the CPNE; less chance of me knocking things down in the lab. I do have cargo type scrub pants with extra pockets that I intend to wear.

I am not sure what I am wearing to the lab. I was going to send this question in my next 40 question e-mail, LOL. It says business casual but I can't imagine trying to pack that wound with high heels on :-) I would like to wear scrubs for all three days also.... still have to buy some white ones and some shoes, I don't have any. I think I am going to get the Grey's Anatomy kind, they are so comfy and they feel like jammies :-) I need a $$ tree.
I wore long sleeves under my scrubs, AND the scrub jacket. Had to make sure the tattoos were covered!I didn't get too warm, and I tested in June.
I have been holding off on getting the one I want on my wrist because of the CPNE LOL... I have a really big one on my back though, so I suppose I should wear a camisole under it just in case my white is see through enough and I take my lab coat off. We have to wear all black and dark blue at work, so I never really think about it.

I work in the butter soft scrubs from uniform advantage. Very comfy; I will be taking those with me.
