Silly question about scheduling NCLEX

Can you sit for NCLEX on weekends, or M-F only?

Haven't got my ATT yet, so I'm not sure what to expect when I schedule...

I've seen some posts here that stated they sat for the NCLEX on a Sat. I don't know where they took the exam though. I would call Pearson Vue or go onto their website to check out the schedules. When you schedule your exam you will be given options on which day and time is available. Good luck with your exam.

I was told by one of our instructors to never schedule an NCLEX on the weekend.

Reason being: In our state, you get your results super fast...usually the next day....if you take your NCLEX on a Friday, or even worse, the holiday weekend, that is 2 to 3 days that no one is doing anything with your test.

If you live in a state where it can take 1 to 2 weeks, then I guess it doesn't matter.

Seems to me when I was taking an EC test on a Saturday, there were a lot of people there taking the NCLEX. Just call the PearsonVue site where you plan to test. I know they do testing on Saturdays (at least the ones where I live).

I tested on Saturday afternoon. When you get your ATT and schedule, you will be able to see which date and time are available to test on the website.

I took mine on a Saturday... 11am... And found out I passed on a Tuesday... Saw my name on the BRN site... I took my test in San Jose,CA....
