Hi all,
I took NCLEX-RN this morning. I have to say that people's responses here are remarkably consistent. Like almost everyone else I have no clue how I did. There were almost always two answers that I had to choose (guess?) between. Studying specific content isn't enough because it's what you do with the content that matters. All I can do is throw up my hands and wait.
Three of us all went and we all shut off at 75 questions.....hoping that's a good sign since we all did well in school and all did well on HESI. I keep obsessing over stupid mistakes I think I made. Our state does not have the 'quick results' either, but most people get their results within a week or two. So I am just waiting and like others, frantically reading anything I can get a hold of about NCLEX in hopes it will make me feel better!!
Good luck to all of you!
WOW, so many people with only 75 questions and lots of check all that applies, it's starting to scare me now! I take my NCLEXRN on July 8th! I am starting to freak out a little now, I haven't been too worried, so I haven't studied much (probly not a good thing), but I just keep thinking that the NCLEXPN was easy and I had close the minimum questions
:balloons: :balloons: Congradulations I passed mine on this last Monday... I felt as everyone else did...but by that afternoon I found out that I had passed......what a relief.....again congradulations....fellow RN.........THRESSA
I know how you both feel...I was there yesterday, but you will get through this and you will pass. I too felt like I failed when I took my test yesterday but I found out at 8am today that I passed and you will to!!!Deb,RN

Mine cut off at 75 and I had several 'check all that apply' questions, lots of prioritization questions, quite a few 'disaster drill' questions, no math. Both of my friends who went yesterday had gtts/min fill-in-the-blank, but I didn't. I passed my NCLEX-PN on the first try with the minimum questions (85), and after that test I felt like I had surely failed, which I didn't. So I'm trying to keep that in perspective, remembering how I felt after LPN boards and knowing that I passed. I just hate waiting....... I'm ready to go to work!

I just took my test today & like you, I had a lot of select all that apply, LOTS of prioritizing, & ones about teaching. I also handle my anxiety by reading every post regarding NCLEX on this site!
