Hiii, I saw there wasn't a page for this yet. SO I decided to start one. Anyone submit their app yet? I just got accepted to SHSU and applied to the Woodlands campus. :)

More acceptance letters? Their whole process is confusing. Like I mentioned it says on the website that you have to accept by tomorrow by 5pm so idk how more letters are being sent this week. Unless its waitlist or denial letters. Maybe they will extend the deadline, not sure.

I'm assuming that the webpage was intended for students that received an acceptance letters only.

There for once more letters go out the webpage could be replaced, taken down or updated or something. Not quite sure! But I am sure that the Nursing Advisor said that all letters will be out by this week.

I called the school of nursing yesterday and the person I spoke with said the emails aren't coming from them directly, but from the prenursing advisors. She said they're still working on them and will be sending out emails throughout the week.

Today I called Ms. Sharp at the woodlands center, and she said they're still working on them. That we will know within 30 days of the application closing date, but that we should know by the end of this week. She said they already sent out some invitstions, but not all.

Hi all. I received an email saying that I'm an alternate! So check your emails!

So I was chosen as an alternate:( but hopefully I'm high up on the list and enough people will deny their acceptance. Does anybody know the likelihood or the average people who are accepted as an alternate?

Are you all applying to UT and TWU as well? I'm waiting on that response... Even more now...

Not yet. All the other schools won't be sending out notices for a while with the exception of UTA which I'm thinking will be next week.

I feel the same way, since we haven't heard anything by now. It's probably going to be a denied email anytime now...

I'm guessing we will see the denial email soon. This will make denial #7 for me, so I'm past the point of getting too worked up about it.
