Hiii, I saw there wasn't a page for this yet. SO I decided to start one. Anyone submit their app yet? I just got accepted to SHSU and applied to the Woodlands campus. :)
You're not being annoying, you're anxiously awaiting and deserve to hear something. I hope you all will soon. I'm not sure comparing stats will make you feel better. I had a 4.0 in all pre reqs with my last course micro biology currently in progress. A 93 on my TEAS I only took it one time mid August 98 in Math and a previous Bachelors degree in another field. My immunizations were fully complete. I applied mid August. I did meet with them a few times while taking pre reqs to make sure I was on track. I asked if it was first come first serve for spots. They said clearly it was not. It was highest scoring candidates first not who got their application in first. Of course it had to be within the timeframe stated by Sept 1st or extended due to Harvey. So I imagine it's a ranking system as they said based on GPA, TEAS and immunizations and the ability to follow instructions. I had a friend get into the Huntsville campus and she had a 4.0 GPA and an 88 on her TEAS.
Wow your stats are amazing!! You really do deserve a spot!! Fingers crossed. I also applied at UTMB but haven't heard back from them yet, but if I got accepted there I wouldn't go to Sam!
I called on Friday and the lady that I spoke with informed me that they will be accepting 60 per campus! And that there are also many applications that are under review! So I guess we just have to continue to be patient!
So does that mean only a portion of the acceptances have been sent out? And thanks for calling!
