If you are taking NCLEX in October as I am here is a place to get motivated. As of today you have approximately 4-8 weeks to prepare for this life changing test. That is more than enough time if you haven't started yet.
Now crack open whatever review book you have and hit it because now is the time to begin. Start typing :typing those review sheets, looking over rationales start with the stuff you know you need help with and feel like because by the end of your study time you'll be up to the stuff you do know and you'll hopefully feel more comfortable at test time... or maybe you won't.
Anybody else motivating tips, or study tips for NCLEX
Re: October NCLEX takers: MOTIVATE
thats not low its actually very good
It is? coz i was aiming for 75% and above... if that's the case thank you ace587... i'll keep going for some more questions until the day of my exam arrive. thank you.
Hey jersey girl!! I am also in NJ....check your email it might already be there....I got my right after I payed for my test......
And my situation is differnt though, I paid for my test about 1 week after my school "told me they sent my letter". I do not know exactly how long it took them to send it, but hey whatever, and also I got my fingerprints done like 4 days after I paid for the test, so maybe that's why it's taking a little while. Where school did you attend?
P.s- I have also been checking my email like a mad woman!! Every single second of the day. I get email through my phone so I am checking it constantly no matter where I am.
just took the nclex-rn today. got around 120 questions all on infection control, satas, drugs, priority, and peds. no med calc. then, i did the pvt and got the good pop up!!!!! thank you lord!!!!!! my confidence was totally shaken. i did not know what to think when i left the testing site.
but praise be to god!!!!
i too did the kaplan course. the kaplan course is closest to the nclex. the other nclex books i had did not seem to compare. those that are taking the nclex soon, i wish you well.

Be positive, we will all be RNs in the end. Just keep practicing the questions. Eliminate that negative feeling, and have your name with RN next to it on a big piece of paper.
remember you can always change the date of your exam. Keep on doing questions. 15 days is still a lot more to go. Really do around 100-150 a day and really sink in the rationales!.
