I am using UWORLD. I'm using LaCharity as well. My average is a 46%. I still have 500+ questions left. I haven't took my assessment, waiting till 2 days before to take it. I have so much anxiety!!
I graduated in May 2018 and keep pushing my NCLEX date back due to my low scores. When I take 75 questions, I get around 30%-55%. But when I take 25 questions, I get 40%-56%. I am doubting myself right now if I should take my NCLEX next week Friday.
I used Mark audios, LaCharity, and Uworld. I take notes as well. Where am I going wrong?
I noticed strategies as well, like pick the most patient-centered answer, use T/F on SATAs, pic the urgent vs nonurgent choice, etc.
Please help a new grad pass. Any encouragement or strategies I need. THANK YOU!!

What will delaying the test again accomplish? You have already postponed the test and still have low scores. You need a tutor to find out what you are lacking (content vs understanding what the question is asking).

My initial advice if you'd asked this question in May would have been to tell you to take it as quickly as possible. Once you get 12 weeks out from graduation, your chances of passing drop precipitously. Not to say it's impossible - but the longer you are away from the nursing school environment and the constant NCLEX-thinking that is ingrained in you, the less likely you are to think the way that you need to in order to pass the NCLEX.
My advice is to take it next Friday and if you fail, get a tutor and work very hard with them until your next test date. Between now and Friday, focus in on problem areas and, like a previous poster said, try to determine if you have a content problem or an understanding the questions problem.
You are right. I'll suck it up and take it. I mean the worse that can happen is failing and it's not the end of the world. I'm afraid of failure but it seems I already set myself up for it and I either take it with whatever I know as of now. Thank you for commenting. I really appreciate the real talk NICU guy.

emmjayy Thank you for your input. I decided to take it. After talking to my friends and families, they said the same thing. Go with what I know. As of right now, I'm just feel like a failure and I know that I should have asked earlier. I'll try my best, pray, study weak areas, and pray more.
You will never know if you've prepared enough until you actually take the test. No one feels good going into this test... the best way to end the uncertainty about it is to just take it! If you fail, okay... you wait 45 days and re-take it. Best of luck to you!!

My school went on strike in March 2018 (never went back to school), I graduated this June, and I wrote my NCLEX last week. I passed. I think you should just have a go at it by this point. If you fail, it's not a big deal! You can always get a tutor and write again.
I used Hurst review & UWorld to study.
