  1. THANK YOU!!!! And you are right. If I don't go for it, I may never know. I will keep you guys updated on what happened. Thank you everyone for the encouragement.
  2. THANK YOU!! And congratulations to you!!! I will give it my all.
  3. emmjayy Thank you for your input. I decided to take it. After talking to my friends and families, they said the same thing. Go with what I know. As of right now, I'm just feel like a failure and I know that I should have asked earlier. I'll try my best, pray, study weak areas, and pray more.
  4. You are right. I'll suck it up and take it. I mean the worse that can happen is failing and it's not the end of the world. I'm afraid of failure but it seems I already set myself up for it and I either take it with whatever I know as of now. Thank you for commenting. I really appreciate the real talk NICU guy.
  5. I am using UWORLD. I'm using LaCharity as well. My average is a 46%. I still have 500+ questions left. I haven't took my assessment, waiting till 2 days before to take it. I have so much anxiety!! I graduated in May 2018 and keep pushing my NCLEX date back due to my low scores. When I take 75 questions, I get around 30%-55%. But when I take 25 questions, I get 40%-56%. I am doubting myself right now if I should take my NCLEX next week Friday. I used Mark audios, LaCharity, and Uworld. I take notes as well. Where am I going wrong? I noticed strategies as well, like pick the most patient-centered answer, use T/F on SATAs, pic the urgent vs nonurgent choice, etc. Please help a new grad pass. Any encouragement or strategies I need. THANK YOU!!
  6. Yes you are right. That's what my friend told me lol.
  7. Thank you. I actually ended up graduating with Departmental Honors. It was a personal accomplishment, so that's why I was insecure about it.
  8. My biggest fear is to not graduate with honors in school with my cohort. The pinnings that I have gone to, EVEVERYONE graduated with honors. Not sure if this is true with other cohorts or nursing students.. This is my last year in nursing school and yes I had some struggles that held me back from excellent academic grades, such as financial issues(I have a family of 2 kids that I support) and family losses along the way, but I felt like I won't graduate with honors with my cohort during pinning.. I feel I would be embarrassed for being the only one without honors. I know I shouldn't be worried about it as long as I pass, but why do I feel so ashamed at the same time? I felt I let a part of me down, but I also look at it this way that I still had the strength to keep moving forward regardless of how difficult nursing is and how overwhelming my person situation was.. Is there anyone out there who didn't graduate with honors and felt this way or is it just me??? I hear the saying: grades don't matter as long as you pass, but I feel like that's not true, especially if I want to go to grad school.
