Shooting at nurse's college in Tuscon, AZ??

I am watching FOXNews and they just reported they have received a "bulletin" about a shooting at a nursing college in Tuscon. They will break in more more news as they get it. Two women have been shot...No word on condition...I hope they are not seriously wounded.

My prayers are with them.

OMG! They are now saying a male nursing student came to class to take a test but the instructors would not allow it because he was late. They are saying he then pulled out a gun and shot two nursing instructors. They have not requested an ambulance for the two women, they think this means they did not survive. They are also saying that the shooter killed himself.

I used to think being an instructor would be a "safe" place as you don't have to put up with the general public as you would in ER, etc.

Apparently not. How odd he came to school WITH the gun. That was premeditated. Thank god he killed himself. That's all he is suited for.

Thank you, JMP- As you are aware many Americans disagree. Arizona is a place with many guns. I'd be interested to know if this is a garden variety hunting rifle (We in the middle of deer season) or some kind of assault weapon. I just had to explain to my 8 year old this weekend that they are not refering to "a salt rifle" in the news, they shoot real bullets...

What makes you so sure that if that man did NOT have a gun, that he wouldn't have figured out a way to kill his instructors with something else? A common kitchen knife perhaps? Or a bomb made out of common household items?

Don't fool yourself. That gun didn't walk up into the school and shoot those people. That MAN did. He would have done it with his bare hands if he had to.
