Help! Would someone please tell me what the most comfortable nursing shoe is out there?? I ordered the Clinic shoe, which I wore back in the 70's and were soooooooooo comfortable, but it seems they aren't as comfortable now 30 years later Clogs are out according to school policy & OSHA Regs.
I now own 7 pairs of these shoes, they are all I wear, unless we're going to church. LOL I love them and my feet thank me after walking for over 12 hrs. a shift.

My top votes for comfy work shoes:
SAS "Freetime" shoe (looks like white Reeboks, but soooo comfy)
and Earth Shoes (I wear these now... still comfy even after working 12+ hrs)
Both cost about $100/pair, but I am willing to spend that much for comfort. Best thing to do is try some on at the shoe store, as others have mentioned.
Love my Danskos. SoxFan is right, you need to try on several pairs. They took a couple of wearings to get used to, but now I am completely, madly, and comfortably in love with this brand. I have them in white and plan on buying a black pair as soon as I can. Definitely worth every penny.

Lots cheaper. I just bought a pair of Birks from an ebay store, the guy owns a shoe store in real time and runs the ebay store from his shoe store. Bought a brand new pair for $48.00. That included shipping via UPS. I went to my uniform store to buy some scrubs and found the same pair for $119.00.
ebay... it's a way of life for me!
