Help! Would someone please tell me what the most comfortable nursing shoe is out there?? I ordered the Clinic shoe, which I wore back in the 70's and were soooooooooo comfortable, but it seems they aren't as comfortable now 30 years later Clogs are out according to school policy & OSHA Regs.

I like Dansko. I would not recommend running shoes as they are designed for the mechanics of running and not walking or abrupt direction changes. If you find you want an athletic shoe, select a cross trainer.

I was having lots of problems all the sudden and kept looking for shoes that would work. Tried Reboks (sp?), Asics Gel, Crocs, Birkenstocks, various clogs and tennis shoes and I finally found what works for me, NurseMates.
I realized that everyone has a different need. Mine is NurseMates. You'll just have to try a few pairs out before you know what will work for you.

I just bought some Birkenstocks and they are very comfy. $120/pair. They can be found on Ebay for cheaper though.

I found a pair of Croc knock offs in Phoenix, AZ at Target for only $10. They feel just as good as the real Crocs too.
