Hey Everyone!

Just wanted to start a thread to see who all is going to be applying for the winter new grad program at Sharp! Good luck to all!

Congrats HopefulRN4! Did you already have your license when you applied?

Has anyone heard anything from Sharp Grossmont PCU Residency?

I interviewed for the position last tuesday, and they said they would get back to me within 1-2 weeks but the wait is killing me. One of my references emailed me saying they contacted her, so I'm hoping that's a good sign. I don't want to seem too eager and call them right away, but was just curious if anyone else has heard back?

Hey KLN, I got an offer for Sharp Grossmont acute care track, it took me 3 weeks to hear back but I do know that my 5 of my letters of rec were called along with my manager a few days after the interview. I didn't hear back until weeks later, and I stared at my phone every waking minute. So, I can imagine what you're going through. I think it's the sharp process which seems to be a couple weeks longer for qualification checks and such. I would consider them contacting your references a GOOD sign, not always a SURE sign. I hear that HR considers calling only top candidates and not such an easy task to verify ALL candidates and applicants... we're talking thousands. Good luck all, I hope to see you.

Has anyone heard from sharp Chula Vista L&D? Is it typical for sharp to not tell you if you didn't get the job or how do they notify for rejections?

Thanks for any information!
