Hello! I just wanted to create this post for anyone that applied to the Sharp New Grad Residency for the Winter 2021 Cohort (Mary Birch & Sharp Chula)!

I wanted to apply but I missed it! Did you get to apply? Does it show for internal people still?

I didn’t apply because I got into Scripps but both of them are gone for me too (but I saw Grossmont’s posting was still up yesterday). People are getting interviews already so I guess they moved super quick haha

How many people do you know got an interview? Interested to know about how many people they will be hiring and how much pay will be?

I saw 2 people post about getting an interview but IDK them personally. No idea how many people they’re hiring and what the pay is tho

I am wondering why they are taking so long for NICU! I already had my interview for L&D and they said I will find out next week! When I asked about when in September they wanted to start they just said “mid”, so I assume NICU will be the same!

I interviewed for the RN extender position at Grossmont for 4E and they offered me a position on Friday. Basically, they need people now for the COVID surge. We'd be trained quickly and do team nursing during the surge and then transition into the regular new grad program after that. They said they were hiring 10 people for 4E. I haven't received my offer letter so I'm not sure what the pay is yet.

Anyone else get an offer yet for 4E?

Do you know what new grad program you will be moved into, I know that theres one at CV but not Grossmont?

It will be on the same floor at Grossmont. Not sure if it'll start in October with the rest of the new grads or if they'll start us all at a different time depending on the surge.
