I think they are still making decisions.  I interviewed back in December and I was told then I wouldn't hear back until January.  According to the New Grad info webinar, they plan to make decisions between January and March. So I think there is still time.  If you haven't interviewed yet, I think it's okay to ask at the end of your interview what the best method of following up on their decision might be. They may let you know around when someone may contact you.  But when it's about a week after when they said they may contact you, I think it's worth following up to let them know you are interested and ask about your status.  I also got similar questions that Kyy and Nurse-ya posted for Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center ED.

@hope 411  @nurse_ya @Leighm11 just received a call right now saying that I'm accepted into the new grad program for the SHARP ED! I interviewed yesterday and received the news today. GOODLUCK to everyone!

I am sorry.. I wholeheartedly trust that we will all find our starting places.  Even if this application period did not work out for Sharp, once you pass the NCLEX, you will be that much stronger candidate for the upcoming rounds.  I was told by a recruiter that there is always at least 1 person in each cohort that does not pass the NCLEX the first time.  I was rejected from UCSD and Scripps without an interview.  Getting an interview means your experience, any previous certification, and application are strong. ?  I was told that no interview is ever wasted.  You can do it!!

@Hope4110 thank you! Thats exactly how I saw it. Previous cohort student got an interview and got denied and her mom was a teacher of the program(she didn't teach the classes she was in though). Based on that conversation with tjem I realized if I got an interview my resume was strong and it gives me time to focus on NCLEX. Good luck to everyone applying for the next round.

Hey guys! Just had my interview... I think it went well. I just got the email for references and put 3 but accidentally hit the "OK" button and I didn't know that submitted it. I didn't get to add my other supervisor or my fifth reference. Does anyone know if theyre really strict are on references? How many did you guys submit? I don't know if I should contact someone to open it again for me to add more, I don't even know who I would contact

@Leighm11 the email regarding the references were a 3 person minimum. I invited 3 professional references for their response. I don't know how strict they are but the email did say at least 3 minimum and a max of 5.

Oh mine said a minimum of 2. I'm just worried because I didn't get to put another one of my bosses. How long after giving your references did you get your offer?

Does anyone know who I can contact to have it opened for me again? I tried the sharp job number but they're not taking calls anymore
