Hello everyone,
I have an interview coming up for Sharp Grossmont's residency program and would really appreciate any information/advice/tips regarding the interview process. If any one has gone through this, I would really appreciate your help. This is my first RN interview and I am a little freaked out! I haven't been in a real interview for years.
What questions did they ask?
How many people were in the panel? Who were they (i.e. staff RNs, educators, leads etc)
How long did it last?
How long did it take them to decide who got hired?
Any information/tips/advice/words of encouragement would be greatly greatly appreciated!! Thanks so much.
Please do share how the Interveiw went!!! I got a call last Wednesday to interview as well at SharpGrossmont, ER New Grad Program. This will be my first RN interview (I had one interview for Extern, it was a panel of 6 - nerveracking!!) so any heads up you could lend this time around will be wonderful. HR told me it's a panel of 8 for the ER interview -- just trying to get a feel for the types of questions they may ask. Best of luck to you!
I also have an interview this week for the Grossmont Tele position...tomorrow actually! Ahhhhh! I also just got an email saying that I'm still in the running for the Residency Program at Memorial. I'm soooo nervous. I have no idea how many positions there are, I just hope I can impress the RN manager tomorrow. Any last minute pointers????
The people who are getting interviews scheduled..my I ask are you in So-Cal? What prior experience is under your belt? :) Thanks in advance
Hi,
I am in So-Cal. I actually work for Sharp already. I got a job with them back in October as a per-diem nursing assistant. Supposedly they are really loyal to their current employees. Fingers crossed!
Good luck to everyone!
sounds awesome! goodluck!!!!!oh... ummm were you sched fo the interview this week or last week? cuz im still hoping for a call actually.. :/
Thank you sooo much!!!!
I got the call a week ago. Other people I've talked to have received rejection emails....so if you haven't gotten one of those, you may still be in the running!! Think positive!!! And good luck!
Good luck to everyone who got interviews or is still in the running! Sorry to those who got rejection letters Trust me I know how it feels! I got rejected the first time I applied and it's frustrating when you spend so much time building your portfolio and they can't even give you an interview, but you just gotta stay positive and believe that you will find that perfect job some day.
My interview went well....it went by so fast though. It was only 30 minutes. Most of it is a blur now haha. I was so nervous! But hopefully I was able to leave a positive impression. They said they would let us know their decision by April 30th...so it's the wait that really sucks haha. They asked a mix of clinical and general questions. Just be honest and stick to your ABCs for clinical stuff!
Good luck again! Let me know how all of your interviews go or if you hear anything.
