Sharp new grad interview

Published

Hello everyone,

I have an interview coming up for Sharp Grossmont's residency program and would really appreciate any information/advice/tips regarding the interview process. If any one has gone through this, I would really appreciate your help. This is my first RN interview and I am a little freaked out! I haven't been in a real interview for years.

What questions did they ask?

How many people were in the panel? Who were they (i.e. staff RNs, educators, leads etc)

How long did it last?

How long did it take them to decide who got hired?

Any information/tips/advice/words of encouragement would be greatly greatly appreciated!! Thanks so much.

Got the good news today :) Woot woot! I feel extremely fortunate and blessed.

Congrats HappyNurse45. I was also just accepted to the same new grad program :) I feel extremely blessed!

I had a panel interview for the Grossmont ER last Tuesday and they said they would call by May 15th. They called yesterday to offer me a JOB!!!! Miracles can happen!!

Do they always have a panel asking you questions? Do they ask scenarios?

Yah! Congrats NewbieRN2010! I'm sure all the new grads will get to meet each

other when we start training.

Manray, I think it depends on what unit is conducting the interview whether you have a panel interview or not.

Hey everyone...I just got a call from Sharp Memorial for a phone screening interview...any tips or advice about what they ask????
