Sharp Chula Vista Med Surg/PCU New Grad

Hi guys,

Anyone out there apply to Sharp Chula Vista's Med Surg/PCU new grad opening for the fall start?

I spoke to someone on Friday and was told they went through all of their internal candidates first but they are currently reviewing external candidates and we should know by the end of the month if we've been selected to interview. I also think they're looking at hiring 20-25 new grads

Wait wow this is NEWS!!! I’m internal and my app has been under review for awhile and haven’t gotten a rejection yet. I thought they already held interviews though?

I have no idea what the status for internal candidates is. I only called because I thought they already interviewed and hired everyone and I wanted to double check since my status never changed but my status just changed today to “hiring manager review”

Can I ask who you called? I’m internal and keep getting mixed messages about everything

I just called the normal HR number and asked specifically about the Chula Vista New Grad program and they transferred me to some talent acquisition specialist but I don’t remember her name.

Call 858-499-4000 and ask specifically about the Chula Vista new grad program and they’ll transfer you to HR and tell them the same thing. Then I was transferred to the talent acquisition specialist.

I got a call today to come in for an interview. I guess it’s a good thing I hadn’t called them yet haha

Also got called for an interview! The two dates they gave me were next Wednesday or the Wednesday after ?
