Hi guys,

Anyone out there apply to Sharp Chula Vista's Med Surg/PCU new grad opening for the fall start?

I emailed the recruiter for Sharp Chula Vista last week and she mentioned that managers will be looking at applications this week and interviews will be scheduled last week of July/First week of August ?

If I passed, being a new mom with no sleep, then you can definitely pass! Take it ASAP. Hope my response helps somebody!

I'm scheduled to take the NCLEX next week and I don't feel ready. I've been studying for about 3 weeks. Your post does help. =]

THANK YOU for your post! My test is in 4 days. I'm so nervous. I been studying U world for past 1 month. I got 55% in the practice test with 100 questions ?.... says "High" chance of passing but to me 55% is so low ?

I applied to Sharp and been "under hiring review" since June 14.

I'm internal, BSN.

I guess I am internal, I work as a CNA at Sharp Memorial. I take my NCLEX this Friday.

To everyone else: I e-mailed one of the Talent Acquisition Specialists (aka recruiter) last Friday because I wanted an update before accepting a position offered to me on my unit. She called me Monday and basically said what @coldbrewprn had said, “Interviews will be held end of July and beginning of August.” She mentioned that they just hired a bunch of new to MedSurg/PCU RNs who originally came from SCVMC Birch Patrick and told me that it would probably be best to accept the offer on my unit and then transfer over to SCVMC after a year. I didn’t want to have to stay in Long Term Care on my Sub-Acute Unit but I guess it’s the way to go guys... all my former RN coworkers only did a couple of months in Sub-Acute and applied and eventually transferred to Sharp CVMC or Grossmont. Just not as new grad positions obviously. Good luck everyone! ✨
