Hi! I applied & have not heard back from them yet. ?
Ugh good luck!!! Wish more people would find this thread to chip in.
Do you have any insight of when we'll be hearing back? Have you had a status change?
Right? That will help a lot with the anxiety! Lol, and I'm glad I found this post.
No status change. I was reading last year's thread, and I read people started to hear back from them a month later after the application closed.
I had a status change to "under department review" on 6/10!
Nice! That's a good sign! ? When did you submit your application?
yeah fingers crossed for both of us! I submitted on 5/22. Im internal, graduated from a school in San Diego, but haven't taken my NCLEX yet ? you?
Yes, fingers crossed! I submitted mine on 5/26 and I'm external, but I have done many clinical hours with them. Graduated here as well, and still waiting for my ATT, so I have just been studying for NCLEX.

Finally, some news about Chula Vista... So they started the review the applications. Also, congrats coldbrewprn, BSN on the change of status. I may have applied too late to be even considered. We will see ?
anyone hear anything new?
I just was checking my application and it says "under review" still. On their website, they said revisions would take from June through August. I am anxious.

Hi all! Today is July 9 and I have been anxiously waiting to hear back from HR/Managers since my status updated on June 15 ? I went from “Under Consideration” to “Under Hiring Department Review” on June 15th. Nothing else since then. I have a former coworker/Charge RN/friend who is now at SCVMC. He e-mailed the Sharp CV New Grad Program Manager and mentioned my name. She responded back to him with a schedule re: when interviews would take place and he mentioned they would be July... well, it’s July guys ? Nothing yet for me. I am an Internal LVN at Sharp Coronado’s Sub-Acute Unit. I’ve been an LVN since May 2014 and have been at SCOR since May 2016. It’s been over a year since I graduated though (May 2018). I didn’t take the NCLEX-RN until April 2019 because I was pregnant during my last semester of nursing school. So I wanted to enjoy the remainder of my pregnancy/first few months of my daughter’s life. I now regret waiting so long though. UWorld was way harder than the NCLEX. I passed in 75 questions and if I remember correctly I had about 17 SATA’s. I didn’t think the NCLEX was as hard as everyone made it out to be (as long as you study and answer questions). If I passed, being a new mom with no sleep, then you can definitely pass! Take it ASAP. Hope my response helps somebody!
