The trend for the past couple of years definitely has been around the 2nd week of April and it was still the case when I asked a month ago.

However, maybe this is the year they will do something even more agonizing.

well if thats the case we should be hearing something any day now. i emailed the nursing dept. a month or so ago and was told early april from them as well. good luck to all that applied.

In the case that the first week of May claim is true, what would we do about May 1st intent to enroll due date at other institutions??

I sure hope we do get our responses this week! :/

Haha I just got "Confirm Your Citizenship Status", and "2013-2014 Financial Aid Doc Request" as well. I'm assuming you got these too?

I don't know, a few people from last year's thread got the financial aid email either got accepted or wait-listed. But those were like 3 people so... I wouldn't really count on it.

Im a little confused as to why they would be offering me grants/loans if I haven't even been admitted to the school yet.....I am going to call tomorrow and ask them what the deal is. It says on the financial aid awards page that you have to accept/decline awards by May 1st...what if we don't hear back about admission until then? I will let everyone know what I can find out tomorrow.

Thanks. That'd be great! But I don't think it is unheard of the schools giving you the loans but deny you the Admission..

i got the email in the evening last night too. i called and asked if we should return before we know if we have been accepted and she sort of chuckled and said you dont have to there is no deadline but the papers of people whom have returned them are already stacking up so the sooner the better. maybe they distribute aid on a first come basis im not sure. im assuming since so many of us got it it doesnt mean anything to significant. booooo! lol my hopes were up.

i just emailed the nursing dept and they replied due to a high number of applicants decisions will go out by end of april. sure why not they have only had 4 months!
