SFSU FALL 2013
Thank you. Themary89. I have applied to 2 more schools, Sac State and CSU East Bay. but I haven't gotten any notifications from them. If I get into CSU East Bay Concord program, I will probably go there because I got into their EOP program already. It will be better for me to finance all the cost for the program. I have recently moved to bay area, so commuting Sac state would be challenging...

SFSU FALL 2013
YAY!! I got into the Spring 2014 program!!! April 29, 2013 Congratulations! On behalf of the faculty, staff, and administration, we are pleased to inform you that you have been admitted to the School of Nursing at San Francisco State University to begin study in the spring 2014 semester. We commend you on your achievement. To reserve a space in the nursing program, you must submit a BSN Response Form directly to the School of Nursing. Those who reserve a space will be sent a School of Nursing orientation packet in late October 2013. Plan to review the spring 2014 frequently asked questions prior to returning your response. We hope your experience here will be both enjoyable and educationally rewarding. Sincerely, ----------------------------------------- Director and Associate Professor Associate Professor and School of Nursing Admissions Committee Chair

Csu fall 2013 hopefuls
According to Sac State homepage, "IMPORTANT Instructions for "New" Transfer Students (Second Bachelors - this does NOT apply to you!): Please be sure you return your University, Intent to Enroll (ITE) by the May 1 deadline,www.csus.edu/admissions/ite. This is a critical deadline! Failure to return your ITE by May 1 will result in your application being withdrawn from consideration from the University and the School of Nursing (no fee required, not a promise to enroll). When you receive your admission decision, please check your Alternate number. If you are Alternate 1-50, please submit a "yes" Intent pending news from the School of Nursing (no fee required, not a promise to enroll). The last Alternate selected fall 2012 was number 47 (usually mid-twenties). So, I think it is safer to send Intend to Enroll thing . I hope this can help you making decision.

SFSU FALL 2013
Hello everyone, I took my TEAS test yesterday and sent out my application on the same day. I have 4.0 GPA (Prerequisite and Overall), TEAS V: 88%. I am fluent in 2 foreign languages. I have some volunteer experience, but the hours are below the minimum requirement, so I won't get any points for that. I am also applying to CSUEB and CSUS. I have no idea how SFSU selects their nursing students, but I know other two schools have the point system. CSUEB 60%GPA/40%TEAS score, and CSUS 50%GPA/50%TEAS score Anyone knows if SFSU also has the point system?

Taking organic chem and microbiology at the same timesounds bad?
I am a mom with three kids. It is really hard to study with three toddlers. My parents help me with kids so I have time to attend college and study. ( not much time for studying though ) I am taking organic chem and microbiology on fall 2011. Many people told me not to take more than 1 science class each semester but I had no choice. Do you think it is bad idea to take them both at the same time? My GPA is 4.0 so far. Thank you in advance.
