Is anyone applying to the SFSU nursing program this fall? how are your stats looking like?

Hey guys I applied to the Advanced Placement Option (RN to BSN) program and I just got my acceptance email. I hope this means it is going to soon be sent for the generic BSN program as well. Good luck.

What time zone are you in namedkwon? 6:25pm seems late for acceptance emails to be sent out.

I live in sf. All the emails from sfsu that I've been getting has been after 6pm

Oh okay, so you received it yesterday at 6pm? In your earlier post you said you recieved it on 4/19 at 6:25 pm but that is today and obviously it isnt past 6pm lol. That's why I asked what time zone you were in, I am in Sacramento so I was thinking maybe you were across the country.

Does anyone know if we can send our "INTEND TO ENROLL" to multiple schools at the same time- even if we dont know we will be going there? The deadline is on MAY 1st and I'm still waiting for SFSU and CSUEB to let me know about my acceptance. I received a message that says "If you do not complete any part of this multi-step "Intent to Enroll" process by the May 1 deadline, we will withdraw your application".

Can someone help me with this please??

LOL fair point. I meant 4/18/13. Sorry for the confusion.

Is it normal for applicants to not be accepted by the university yet?

I guess I can't submit an intent to enroll because I have not been admitted to the university.

I'm a second bachelor's applicant, does everyone else's application status say this?:

"Your application has been forwarded to the major department for review.

As soon as the department completes the review of your application and renders a decision about your admission into their program, we will resume processing of your file and you will be notified by email and regular mail."

Congrats, namedkwon! And thanks for the information about clinicals. That sounds good.

I'm also wondering if I can submit and "intent to enroll" to more than one school, given the May 1 deadline. Does anyone know the answer to that?

oh ok, how did they notify you that you were accepted? I haven't received anything that indicates I've been accepted to the university, only the update saying that my application was forwarded to the school of nursing.
