Is anyone applying to the SFSU nursing program this fall? how are your stats looking like?

Hi everyone,

I am not usually this inept on a website, but I have looked at BOTH the fact sheet and general nursing site and cannot tell when the school year starts for BSN students at SFSU. I see that the app period is Aug to Nov. Thanks so much for any insight!

The school year starts in Fall of 2013 so August.

Is there also a Spring Entry or am I confused? Sorry I just thought I saw a conversation between people that got in at different times. Just to clarify, I am talking about the SF campus. Thanks so much!

If you go to FAQ's on the nursing website it says they admit around 80 students.. Half for fall and half for spring and they also have a small waitlist for people who decline.

I applied to the APO BSN but the Admission Specialist told me that he anticipates the undergraduate admission notices to be sent out beginning of the second week of April.

Just called SFSU; we won't hear back until the last week of April/first week of May. Lame! I am so nervous!

That's odd!! Every year it's been the second week of April :/ from what I can see from previous threads ughhh ill be out of country first week of may!!

i was told april as well and if you read through your emails confirming your application it says you will be notified by the second week of april.

I thought that all state schools got back to us around late April or early May but you're right, the e-mail they sent confirming our application says no later than the second week of April. We'll see if that's what ends up happening.

"Decision notices will be sent via email no later than the second week of April 2013"
